Associate Professor of Physics
I am an Associate Professor of Physics and a Department Chair at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of San Francisco. I am first and foremost a teacher. In the previous eight years, I have taught 15 distinctive lecture and laboratory courses. I enjoy being in a classroom where together with my stuents we can unravel misteries of physics. Including students in my research is my other passion. My research focuses primarely on spectrscopy methods for plasma etching and cleaning technologies. In particular, I work on combining various numerical methods with widely used optical emission spectroscopy technique to obtain fundamental plasma properties.
